Dean Markel

Dean Markel has been head of the Music Program at St. George’s School in Vancouver, Canada since 2018 where he leads a team of dedicated teachers and musicians. Dr. Markel is an active freelance trumpet player, clinician, and conductor.

He has served as a board member of the Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra since 2019 and enjoyed seeing his daughter develop as a musician during her seven years in RDYO.
