Operations Director

 With over 10 years of experience as Executive Director/CEO in the non-profit arts education sector, Trang Trinh assumes her position at RDYO with excitement.

A Forbes 30 under 30 lister, trailblazer and visionary in advancing social change through the arts, her commitment to equity, education, and excellence was recognized in multiple prizes such as UN-Habitat Charlotte Peace Designer Prize, the US Department of State Fulbright Program, the Atlantic Fellowship, the UK Alumni Arts & Culture Award, the Korean Culture Center Culture Ambassador, one of theVietnam National Education Ministry’s youngest Curriculum writer  among others. 

Most recently, she was the founding CEO of the Vietnam Youth Music Institute and the Vietnam Youth Orchestra. Trang holds a Master Degree in Arts Leadership and a Fulbright scholarship at the USC – University of Southern California, LA. Her background in the performing arts include Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in piano performance from the Royal Academy of Music, UK, where she was elected in 2018 as an Associate (ARAM) for her contribution to the music profession.

Her family with 2 young children now gratefully live and work on the land belonging to the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
