Pre Junior Strings

For young musicians who would like to learn how to create music with other like-minded students in an ensemble setting. Learning how to listen and play together with others is a valuable skill to develop and much more fun than playing alone! Students will learn how music ensembles are organized, basic rehearsal etiquette, how to follow a conductor, and will exhibit their new ensemble skills by performing together in a term-end concert. Violin, Viola, and Cello.

*For children aged 6-12. Students should be able to read and play music and must be studying with a private teacher at approximately RCM 2-3. No previous ensemble experience required*

Sign up online through the City of Richmond recreation guide.

Classes Start October 3rd at 4 pm.
