This year’s annual Classical Cabaret we return to the music of the Broadway theatre and London stage for our inspiration! One of the most iconic musicals in the history of the genre just turned 50! The Hills will indeed be alive with the Sound of Music. The wonderful score from Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein and the iconic voice of Julie Andrews will be recaptured by Delta’s own seasoned veteran of Music Theatre Tracy Neff.  Indeed she will be joined by a troup of “Von Trapp” Children from the Delta Community Music School with iconic tunes such as the Sound of Music, Sixteen Going on Seventeen. and more!

We are also paying tribute to another of the great musicals of the 1980’s, Les Miserables has now been on the London and Broadway stages for more than 25 years and we will be performing a few iconic songs from the show including On my Own and Bring Him Home!
The Symphony orchestra will be featured in the first set featuring works by Rossini and our Chamber division will serenade you in the pre concert reception starting after 6:15pm.
